Complementary/integrative medicine is being integrated into many cancer settings. Integrative physicians and psycho-oncology social workers have common patients. IP-SW communication correlates with a higher rate of SW-patient interaction. IP-SW communication can be enhanced using a two-way referral-summary interaction.
