Eu3+ doping induced the formation of BiVO4 microspheres and the phase transformation. F− doping obviously increased the crystallinity of BiVO4. Eu and F co-doping enhances separation efficiency of photo-generated electrons (e−) and hole (h+). Eu, F-codoped BiVO4 microspheres displayed superior photocatalytic performance.
