Solid solutions in Eu(La)–Sr–V(Ti, Cr, Nb, Mo)–O systems with K2NiF4-type structure

A possibility of transition metal (Ti, Cr, Nb, and Mo) substitution for vanadium in EuSrVO4 has been investigated. Here we report on the results obtained concerning the single-phase regions, crystal parameters and electrical properties of these systems. A continuous range (0≤x≤1.0) of solid solutions was detected in the EuSrV1−xCrxO4 system, while all the other systems studied showed limited solubility of transition metals.
