Air assisted emulsification liquid-liquid microextraction based on deep eutectic solvent for preconcentration of methadone in water and biological samples
A new deep eutectic (DES) solvent has been synthesized as an extraction solvent. DES was used as a low cost, environmental friendly solvent instead of ionic liquid. THF was used as an aprotic solvent into sample solution to provide a turbid state. Air assisted was used to disperse the aggregated DES droplets into aqueous phase. This method was successfully applied to determine methadone in biological samples.
