Mn3O4 nanoparticles were synthesized in ethaline deep eutectic solvent. Mn3O4 nanoparticles showed mean particle size of 25 nm with spherical morphology. The nanoparticles exhibited semiconducting and paramagnetic behavior at RT. Ethaline played a triple role of solvent, reactant and template in the synthesis.
