Evaporation of water droplets on stainless steel plate was performed in a wind tunnel.
Influence of ambient conditions and percentage of wet surface on evaporation rate was studied.
Evaporation rate increases linearly with temperature difference between air and plate.
For studied conditions, percentage of wet surface and relative humidity have the most influence on evaporation rate.
Correlation was proposed to predict evaporation rate in function of the percentage of wet surface and ambient conditions.
