A flat disk-shaped evaporator of a loop heat pipe is studied. The influence of liquid filtration through a wick on the evaporator temperature is considered. A criterion KPe is suggested for evaluation of the cooling effect of working liquids. The liquid filtration plays an insignificant role in the heat transfer at Pe < 0.75.
