AquaCrop and SIMDualKc models were compared under different soil water stress conditions with plastic film-mulching in arid climate for the first time. SIMDualKc model was recommended to partition ET under full irrigation conditions. AquaCrop model was recommended to partition ET under deficit irrigation conditions.
