A 2-year-old boy with prune-belly-syndrome experienced recurrent respiratory distress with pneumothorax. The child was found to have left mainstem bronchus compression from pectus excavatum deformity. Nuss repair, never before described in a patient with this condition, provided durable relief from respiratory distress.
