Fine-structure calculations of sulfurlike Mn have been performed using configuration interaction technique, CI. The relativistic effects, Breit-Pauli Hameltonian, have been correlated to the CI calculations. Excitation rates by electron impact of the Mn X ion have been evaluated up to ionization potential.
