Determination of salicylic acid using a magnetic iron oxide nanoparticle-based solid-phase extraction procedure followed by an online concentration technique through micellar electrokinetic capillary chromatography
This study applied MION-based SPE and MEKC-UV for analyzing salicylic acid. MEKC coupled with online high-volume sample stacking. The method provided an approximately 1026-fold improvement in detection sensitivity. The spiked recoveries in real samples were in the range of 95.8%–102.4%.
