A new restricted access molecularly imprinted polymer (RAMIP-BSA) was synthesised. RAMIP-BSA was able to extract tricyclic antidepressants (TCAs). The polymer was able to and exclude more than 99% of proteins from the samples. RAMIP-BSA was used for direct online extraction of TCAs from human plasma. TCAs determination was performed without chromatography separation.
