Extraction pressure (P) positively affects the production cost (CPC) of oilseeds. Capital costs of SFE plants depends on P, number and volume of extraction vessels, and mass flow rate of CO2. Modified capital cost correlation has a scaling factor of 0.44. Oilseed extraction should be carried out up to 50 MPa to minimize production cost. Substrate is the most important contribution to the CPC.
