Bubbly flows are predicted using a two-fluid Eulerian–Eulerian CFD model.

Evolution of the bubble diameter distribution is tracked using the Sγ model.

Average bubble diameter radial profiles are successfully predicted.

Coalescence and break-up significantly depend on the multiphase turbulence.

Two bubble groups seem sufficient to describe the whole bubble diameter spectrum.
