Mixing intensification achieved by two central impellers-anchor coaxial mixers was assessed. These multi-impeller mixers are more compact for the larger scale of mixing operations. These coaxial mixers were efficient for the mixing of yield-pseudoplastic fluids. A new correlation was introduced for the Reynolds number of these coaxial mixers. The highest mixing intensification was achieved by Scaba-pitched blade-anchor coaxial mixer.
