Our research about the effects of fertilization on nematode communities is the first time to carry out in alpine meadow on the Tibetan Plateau. High levels of fertilization increased the nematode community abundance, and reduced the biodiversity of both plant and nematode communities. The changes in nematode community were associated with both soil factors and plant community. Soil microorganism and plant community were affected by fertilization, whereas plant community was the main determinant of nematode community.
