Effect of different dietary vitamin E levels on growth, fish composition, fillet quality and liver histology of meagre (Argyrosomus regius)

Dietary vitamin E levels did not affect meagre growth performance. Fish fed low vitamin E levels presented higher muscle TBARS. Muscle fatty acid profile and liver morphology was slightly affected by vitamin E. A dietary inclusion of 451 mg kg− 1 of vitamin E as α-tocopherol acetate is suggested.
