The sol-gel processing offers a feasible method for preparing the CuCo2O4 thin film. Optical bandgaps of CuO2O4 thin films were (2.12–2.15) eV and (1.32–1.34) eV. Conductivities of the thin films were (0.53–1.17) S/cm, which is much higher than that reported in the literature. Carrier concentrations of CuCo2O4 thin films were (2.18–5.38)×1018 cm−3.
