Features of skeleton water-extractable fines from different acidic soils

文摘
The skeleton water-extractable fines (SWEF) are intimately associated to rock fragments. SWEF had higher ECEC than the adjacent fine earth fraction. SWEF contribution to total soil ECEC was high compared to the abundance of SWEF. The formation of SWEF was controlled by mineralogy, weathering and pedogenesis. The amount of SWEF was not related to the actual abundance of rock fragments.
