Pre-storage period (PP) and temperature (PT) affected flavonol level during storage.

UV-B with visible light during storage had potential to increase flavonol content.

Outcome of this treatment was influenced by storage temperature, PP and PT.

Upon UV-B exposure, epidermal flavonols accumulated earlier at high temperature.
