A comparative investigation on the in vitro anti-inflammatory, antioxidant and antimicrobial potentials of subextracts from the aerial parts of Daphne oleoides Schreb. subsp. oleoides
Biological activities of extract/subextracts were comparatively investigated. Less polar subextracts exerted higher anti-inflammatory/antimicrobial potential. The ethyl acetate subextract showed the highest antioxidant effect. Total phenolic and flavonoid contents of the extract/subextracts were determined. Hexadecanoic acid was revealed to be the major component of the n-hexane extract.
