Dandelion leaf has the highest level of total phenolic and flavonoid contents. Dandelion leaf extract has the highest total antioxidant and DPPH scavenging activity. Dandelion leaf extract and chicoric acid inhibit inflammasome activation in HT-29 cells. Dandelion leaf extract and chicoric acid have potent ROS scavenging and anti-inflammatory activity.
