Effects of hydraulic retention time, co-substrate and nitrogen source on laundry wastewater anionic surfactant degradation in fluidized bed reactors

The FBRs were operated in short hydraulic retention time. Nitrate addition affected LAS removal on FBR operated in shorter HRT. There was significant toxicity decrease on effluent toward the macro-invertebrate. Some genera related to LAS degradation were identified in both reactors.
