37 bacterial strains identified by 16S rDNA gene sequencing as Leuconostoc mesenteroides. RAPD-PCR performed using 239 and KAY3 primers. Different RAPD fingerprint profiles obtained, ranging between 300 and 4000 bp band size with both the primers. Phylogenetic analysis divided all the 37 strains into seven major clades.
