DLVO, hydrophobic, capillary and hydrodynamic forces acting on bacteria at solid-air-water interfaces: Their relative impact on bacteria deposition mechanisms in unsaturated porous media
文摘
Bacteria deposition in unsaturated porous media was studied. The magnitude of attachment and straining of bacteria was estimated. DLVO, hydrophobic, capillary and hydrodynamic forces were calculated. Capillary forces predominated bacteria deposition.
