Frit-Inlet FFF is a powerful method for the characterization of polyion complexes. The presence of several assembly populations is clearly established in some cases. The results are complementary to classical batch dynamic light scattering. The sensitivity of PICs to salt starts at low concentrations. A process of polymer ejection exists with salt before destruction of the PIC.
