Integrated approach improve ERA implemented within the EU-WFD. Chemistry, biomarkers and ecological analyses are complementary LOE. Biomarkers point out biological disturbances before fish community are disturbed. Chemical, Biomarker and Ecological indexes improve decision making by managers.
