The MOF based on gadolinium ion and tricarboxylate ligand was synthesized. This MOF is connected with 1D Gd3+ ions chain and the carboxylate groups of BTPCA3- ligands. The magnetic studies indicate that the MOF exhibits the weak ferromagnetic interactions. Magnetic investigation reveals that the MOF exhibits the high entropy change.
