Given the evidence and controversy surrounding the current influenza pandemic, the present article aims to demonstrate that homeopathy, as a medical therapy, can contribute to the resolution of this sometimes serious infection, which is spreading to an alarming extent. A short review of Spanish flu is provided, with special reference to the work of Dr. Nebel, in which homeopathy was the medicine with capital letters, that is, persons treated with this modality were spared the mortality rate that desolated populations from 1918-1919 treated with the allopathic medicine that predominated at the time. Swine flu is reviewed from the perspective of homeopathy, following the work of the Aurum European Homeopathy Group. Based on the characteristics of the pandemic, a series of useful remedies are proposed.
