3D linear inversion process of apparent susceptibility datasets acquired with different EMI metric sized instrument. A 2D horizontal FFT is applied to these apparent magnetic susceptibility variations and to the instrument impulse responses. A (vertical) 1D inversion is performed in the spectral domain followed by inverse FFT to restore the 3D variations. Tests are presented for both synthetic cases and four archaeological site cases.
