Linear and zigzag fullerene oligomers were studied by DFT method. Their dipole polarizability and its exaltation linearly increase with maximal remoteness of C60 fragments. Geometry defines dipole polarizability of fullerene oligomers rather than topology. Stability trends for linear and zigzag fullerene oligomers differ.
