Novel route for modification of CdSe0.6Te0.4 thin films. CdSe0.6Te0.4 thin films were prepared by the electrodeposition method. The X-ray diffraction confirmed that the films were pure CdSe0.6Te0.4 thin film. The CdSe0.6Te0.4 thin films are expected to have an advantage in photovoltaic application.
