ppGalNAc-T1 and T4 are highly expressed during MC3T3 cell osteogenesis. Knockdown of ppGalNAc-T1 and -T4 decreases osteogenic differentiation and mineralization. Expression of osteogenic factors are differentially affected by decreased ppGalNAc-T1 and -T4 expression.
