WO3 products with various morphologies were hydrothermal prepared by using Na2SO4.

WO3 nanorod bundles composed of numerous short nanorods were successful obtained.

Gas-sensing properties of the as-prepared WO3 were tested to several organic gases.

The WO3 nanorods bundles exhibit high response and selectivity to formic acid.

As we know, the research on the detection of formic acid has been rarely reported.
