A rigorous process model was developed for co-gasification of coal-biomass blends. The model predictions were found to be in good agreement with practical data. A parametric study was conducted to test critical effects on gasifier performance. The proposed model was applied to revamp an existing natural gas power plant. Power generation with reduced fuel costs and improved environmental impacts.
