This paper deals about the analysis of archaeological hair remains from a hunter-gatherer context from Patagonia. Identifications of hair have been scarce in the archaeological literature. Through this study two unknown hunter-gatherer practices (in regional scale) were inferred: the use of hide of a small rodent (Lagidium sp.) as raw material; and the use of human hair as grave offering.
