We assess individual and contextual correlates of diet quality among Veterans. Higher depressive symptoms are associated with poorer diet quality among Veterans. Veterans with social support for eating behavior have better diet quality. Veterans with neighborhood access to healthy foods have better diet quality. Diet interventions should address individual and contextual factors to be effective.
