Registered Dietitians (RD’s) key healthcare professionals to translate Nutritional Genomics (NGx) into practice. There is a lack of research conducted into the views of RD's who have integrated NGx into practice. Higher education curricula do not integrate genomics data into clinical practice and involvement of RD’s in NGx is low. Opportunity to integrate DNA testing and digital health platforms into curriculum as to increase engagement with NGx. Dietetic organizations and academic institutions need to put NGx higher on the strategic agenda to progress the profession.
