First attempt to develop physical vigourization of seeds in alpine species. Detailed profiles of γ-ray tolerance/sensitivity described for the first time in alpine species. Impact of of γ-rays on standard (seed bank) dry storage is species-dependent. EPR provides information on the seed ability to neutralize free radicals. PCA analysis reveals correlation between seed total phenolics content and EPR spectra.
