The percentages in the three steps of the BCR were similar for Pb and Zn in the different soils. The mine tailing soils registered the highest percentages in the first two BCR fractions. The uncontaminated soils gave the highest percentages for the residual fraction. The soils with high total concentration metals presented the greatest availability.
