Diabetes and pre-diabetes at diagnosis already possess atherogenic dyslipidemia. Fasting, 1-h and 2-h glycemia strongly modulate individual's lipid pattern. NGT-1h-high ≥155 mg/dl have a worse cardio-metabolic profile than plain NGT. NGT subjects may disguise an increased risk of cardiovascular disease.
