The Eltville Tephra age (W-Europe) is calculated by a Bayesian resampling approach. OSL ages bracketing the tephra were combined to calculate a common age. First OSL ages directly from the Eltville Tephra are presented. Excellent consistency between direct ages and modelling results was achieved. Event-based correlations can be strengthened by the revised ET age.
