Local last glacial maximum (LLGM) lasted from ∼21 ka until ∼16 ka. LLGM temperature depression was 5.0–5.1+1.5−1.0 °C assuming no precipitation change. Rapid deglaciation occurred between 16 and 14 ka and left valleys nearly ice free. About half of total post-LLGM climatic amelioration occurred between 16 and 14 ka.
