A total of 135 peptides from 17 proteins were identified in the A. gomesiana peptidome. Three new cysteine-rich mature peptides were sequenced: U1-TRTX-Agm1a, U1-TRTX-Agm2a and U1-TRTX-Agm3a. Part of the 1768 peptides obtained only by de novo analysis presented homologies to sequences of 32 spider toxins. The peptide fraction of A. gomesiana venom contains new potential antimicrobial agents.
