We tested psychometric properties of Generalized Problematic Internet Use Scale 2. We replicated the cognitive-behavioral model of PIU in Facebook in adolescence. Scale presents good internal consistency, adequate fit, good convergent validity. Deficient self-regulation on facebook predicts negative outcomes.
