Application of graphite oxide incorporated PVA-sulfonated styrene PEM in MFCs. GO0.4 membrane was found optimum in terms of membrane properties. Substrate oxidation using electrogenic firmicutes as biocatalysts in MFCs. Better performance in MFC was recorded for GO0.4 membrane.
