Do educational affordances and gratifications drive intensive Facebook use among adolescents?

Cross-sectional study with 942 adolescent Facebook users from India. Instrument on educational affordances and U&G of Facebook were developed. Content U&G did not, but process, technology and social U&G did predict IFU. Educational affordances of Facebook did not significantly predict IFU. Theoretical and practical implications for scholars, developers and policy makers.
