A novel technique named the shrinking circles is proposed to enhance the capabilities of optimization algorithms. An upgraded version of Gravitational Search Algorithm named Advanced GSA is presented. Advanced GSA is used as an optimization kernel for the proposed circuit sizing tool. A straightforward strategy is employed to alleviate the computation burden of corners analysis.
