All inoculum densities of Meloidogyne incognita affected growth and yield of cucumber. Growth and yield were found to be negatively correlated with inoculum densities. Conversely, plant ages at inoculation had positive correlations with growth and yield. M. incognita has the potential to severely impair the growth of cucumber. Delaying exposure of cucumber to nematodes can significantly abate yield losses.
