A. vera is a crop of industrial important in many countries. Zeolite application could alleviate water stress adverse effects, and improved plant growth and yield. Water use efficiency of A. vera increased with less water and more zeolite availability. Severe water stress increased phytochemical and biochemical compounds. Zeolite application prevented the increase of soluble sugars and aloin under water deficit stress conditions.
